Description
THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS PROPOSED ACTION WILL BE A DESIGN-BUILD TASK ORDER ISSUED AGAINST AN EXISTING INDEFINITE DELIVERY INDEFINITE QUANTITY (IDIQ) CONTRACT FOR DESIGN-BUILD (D-B) CONSTRUCTION SERVICES LOCATED AT BPA BUILDING 905 AND GSA BUILDING 911, PORTLAND OREGON, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) OF 2009. CONSTRUCTION SERVICES INCLUDE THE REPLACEMENT OF THE COMPLETE BPA 905 ROOF WITH ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY AND ENERGY CONSERVING GREEN ROOFING SYSTEMS - COOL ROOFING (DESIGNED TO ACCOMMODATE A FUURE INTEGRATED PHOTOVOLTAIC (PV) INSTALLATION), AND SEMI-INTENSIVE VEGETATIVE PLANTED ROOFING, BOTH OF WHICH WILL BE DESIGNED WITH THE MAXIMUM THICKNESS AND R-VALUE INSULATION THAT THE EXISTING CONSTRUCTION CAN ACCOMMODATE. ADDITIONALLY THE BOILERS OF BOTH BUILDINGS WILL BE REPLACED AND MUCH OF THE HVAC COMPONENTS IN THE BPA 905 AND THE COOLING TOWERS IN GSA 911 WILL BE UPGRADED OR REPLACED. THE GSA 911 BUILDING ENVELOPE WILL RECEIVE MINOR IMPROVEMENTS WITH THE RESEALING OF THE FENESTRATION. AN ART-IN-ARCHITECTURE PROJECT WILL BRING LIFE BACK TO THE HYDRO-ELECTRIC FOUNTAIN SCULPUTRE IN THE CHILDCARE COURTYARD AMONG OTHER MINOR BUILDING IMPROVEMENTS. ADVANCED METERING FOR EACH OF THE BUILDINGS IS INCLUDED IN THE PROECT. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO CURRENT IDIQ MULTIPLE AWARD TASK ORDER CONTRACT (MATOC) CONTRACT HOLDERS. Current contract holders include the following: Allen Bradbury Construction, LLC (Algona, WA); Cherokee General Corporation (Fairview OR); Glen/Mar Construction, Inc. (Clackamas OR); K.O.O. Construction, Inc. (West Sacramento, CA); Northcon, Inc. (Hayden, ID); and Pacific Tech Construction, Inc. (Longview, WA). This is not a request for quotations. The Project and Acquisition Solutions Branch, Northwest Arctic Region, General Services Administration (GSA), desires to obtain construction for subject Recovery-funded project. The resultant task order will be awarded to contract holder of subject IDIQ contract per terms and conditions of IDIQ contract. This acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 236220 - "Building Alterations, Nonresidential, Commercial & Institutional (General Construction)". The Product Supply Code (PSC) is Z111 - Maintenance, Repair/Alternations Office Buildings. Any questions regarding this notice must be submitted in writing or via email to Judith Tomlinson.
