- Description
- The United States Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command Center - Yuma, Yuma Proving Ground, Arizona, intends to negotiate an extension to firm-fixed price contract DATM07-02-C-0009 on a sole source basis with SEAIR Transport Services Inc. SEAIR currently provides Aviation Support Services at the U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), AZ. These non-personal services include ground and flight operations, aviation maintenance, airfield services, aircraft servicing, and operation of the installation respiratory protection program. The current contract expires 31 March 2010. The modification will consist of one three-month extension, with three additional one-month options for a potential total of six months through 30 September 2010. This extension is necessary to provide continued support while allowing adequate time to competitively award a follow-on contract and sufficient time for any required transition from the existing contract. Transition is anticipated to take 30 days. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS and no solicitation will be issued. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by this agency. Any such information submitted will also be used for market research purposes for the follow-on acquisition.
