- The proposed contract action is for commercial supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority for FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within five days after date of publication of this notice of intent. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel is the only known source in Baltimore, MD metropolitan area that can offer adequate facilities for the public affairs training symposium within the required time frame. Symposium will take place May 23 - May 26 2010 in Baltimore, MD. The applicable North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 721110.
