Description
Golf Cart Maintenance Industry Day Invitation and Instructions MEMORANDUM FOR SEE DISTRIBUTION FROM: 78CCS/PKA SUBJECT: Golf Cart Maintenance Industry Day Announcement 1. The Warner Robins Air Logistics Center is hosting an Industry Day on 23-February-2010, to solicit feedback from interested industry representatives regarding an initiative by the 402d Maintenance Wing to acquire maintenance and support for Golf Cart Maintenance. Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, vehicles, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary and at the required frequency, unless otherwise stated in the PWS, to maintain and support approximately four hundred (400) golf carts for the 402d Maintenance Wing. With the exception of disabled golf carts, all maintenance and support shall be conducted at the contractor's off-base facility or on site using mobile repair vehicle. This requirement will have a Basic period of performance of One (1) Year and Four (4) out-year Options. 2. Your company has been identified through our market research activities as a potential business interest in this unique marketplace. We welcome collaboration with industry to critically review our requirements and discuss mutual issues and concerns relative to our technical requirements and acquisition strategy approach. On the morning of the first day we will convene an open session for general discussion on issues and concerns. Beginning that afternoon and continuing into the next morning we will schedule one-on-one sessions with each vendor interested in discussing specific issues and concerns relative to their company's interests. Each vendor will be allowed 10 minutes of discussion time for the closed sessions. Additional session time will be allocated for government posed questions. Sessions will be scheduled on a first come-first-served basis. 3. If your company is interested in participating in the subject Industry Day, please contact Martin Saunders, 478-926-5507, martin.saunders@robins.af.mil for detailed information on the Industry Day Venue and associated information regarding base access, parking, and local area information or to schedule a one-on-one session with the government team. Due to the expected level of interest in the program, we are limiting company participation to just two representatives each. All interested parties should contact Mr Saunders no later than 9 February 2010 due to Base security access requirements.
