Description
The United States Army, Joint Munitions & Lethality Contracting Center locatedat Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806, on behalf of the Enterprise Systems Integration Center (ESIC), Logistics Research & Engineering Directorate (LRED), Life Cycle Supportability Division (LCSD), of the Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC), has a requirement for contractual support to carry out analyses necessary to support specific ARDEC programs. As a member of the Life Cycle Supportability Division Team, the contractor shall perform logistics and supportability analyses as necessary in support of ARDEC programs. The contractor shall perform analyses in support of ARDEC programs using appropriate DoD/Army and industry standards and tools, as necessary. The contractor shall be highly proficient in the use of maintainability, repair vs. discard, level of repair, lifecycle cost, failure mode effects and criticality, fault tree, Selected Essential Item Stockage for Availability Method, fielding readiness, business case analysis in support of Performance Based Logistics, and task analysis. The primary location for the performance of work under this contract will be Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806. The period of performance will be 12 months from the date of contract award. Applicable FSC is R413, NAICS is 541330. The Government will make only one award as a result of the Request for Proposal (RFP). The Government will utilize the policies contained in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The RFP is forecasted to be available on or about 12 February 2010.
