- Description
- Letter to Vendor The Federal Bureau of Prisons, United States Penitentiary - Lee, Jonesville, Virginia, intends to issue solicitation RFQP0117100015, for the requirements of quarterly meat and subsistence food products. This solicitation is restricted to 100% small business and FOB destination. Delivery will be for April 2010. Deliveries will be made to the United States Penitentiary - Lee, Lee County Industrial Park, Hickory Flats Road, Pennington Gap, VA 24277. The contract type is a firm fixed price. The Government reserves the right upon award to make formal or single multiple awards. The Government will award to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, that are to be considered to be most advantageous to the Government, with price and past performance considered, prices being rated higher than past performance. The solicitation will be made available on or about March 1, 2010 and will be posted to the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website: http://www.fbo.gov. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to make sure they have the most up to date information about this solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is February 26, 2010; 1400 (2 pm) EST. Payment will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Each offeror is required per FAR 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via the On-line Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. Faith Based and Community Based organizations can submit offers/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
