- Description
- The Architect of the Capitol is soliciting proposals for multiple award contracts to accomplish various construction services. Projects may include new construction, routine renovations to facilities to include administrative offices spaces, warehouses, and industrial facilities, and the repair and rehabilitation of monumental historical buildings and grounds. Projects may also include requirements for Design/Build, selective demolition, temporary facilities, modernization of building systems, upgrading of mechanical, electrical, and fire alarm/suppression systems and other building systems and, protection systems for facilities and grounds to support security mission. Contractors and subcontractors may be required to supply staff with a security clearance of “Secret” or higher. This procurement will result in the award of a maximum of six (6) IDIQ contracts with a performance period of a base year plus four (4) option periods. Throughout the term of this contract, at the Government’s option, task orders will be issued on a competitive or sole-source basis to the contract awardees. Task order minimum and maximum limits are $100,000.00 and $35,000,000.00 respectively; contract maximum is $35,000,000.00 per year. Each contract minimum guarantee is $100,000.00. The maximum contract value, encompassing all task orders awarded shall not exceed $175,000,000.00 for the life of each contract. Contracts will be awarded using competitive negotiation procedures requiring the submission of technical proposals. The solicitation will be issued on or about February 26, 2010. The due date for receipt of proposals will be on or about April 6, 2010. When ready, the solicitation will be available electronically at http://www.aoc.gov/business/procure-opps.cfm. INTERESTED PARTIES ARE ENCOURAGED TO DOWNLOAD THE ELECTRONIC VERSION AS THIS WILL EXPEDITE RECEIPT OF THE SOLICITATION. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR TO MONITOR THIS SITE FOR ALL CHANGES!!
