- RECOVERY - PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTOR(S) UNDER: Contractor SEH Jacobs, Contract Number W912EK-09-D-0006 THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, intends to modify a firm fixed price task order for a Main Lock Culvert Valve Machinery Study Phase I, Melvin Price Locks and Dam, Mississippi River. In the original task order, the Architect-Engineer will investigate the conditions that caused the damage to the culvert valve machinery on the main lock between January 1993 and January 2007. The modification will extend the completion date from 1 September 2009 to 14 January 2010, and reduce the task order dollar amount because funds were not used by the A-E.
