- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE - Replace Nurse Call 2nd Floor B-406, ARRA Project, at the VA Medical Center in Tomah, WI. Contractor shall provide for and furnish all labor, materials, equipment, temporary protection, qualified supervision, overtime, and other items designated under the provisions of this contract, Replace Nurse Call 2nd Floor B-406, as outlined in the contract specifications and as shown on the contract drawings. Project consists of the removal and disposal of existing nurse call system with related wiring and assemblies, installation of new nurse call system with related wiring and assemblies, patching and repairing of interior finishes and related assembly work and the necessary removal, storage and reinstallation of equipment and certain other items. The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be posted on FedBizOpps. There will be a pre-construction conference held for this project and all prospective bidders are encouraged to attend. Details of the pre-construction conference will be included in the solicitation package. This solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business firms. The solicitation will be issued on or about February 16, 2010 with the bid opening on or about March 17, 2010. The bidder is responsible to monitor and download any amendments from FedBizOpps which may be issued to this solicitation. Pursuant to 38 USC 8127(d), competition is restricted to Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business construction firms. The project magnitude range is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 238990; size standard $14.0 Million applies. Time for completion is 120 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, Required Central Contractor Registration and in accordance with FAR 2.101, VAAR 802.101, VetBiz Registration, prospective firms must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and in the VetBiz databases prior to award.
