- Description
- The Joint Personnel Recovery Agency, Ft Belvoir AFB intends to solicit for support of the ModelCenter, Visualization Pak Licensese and maintenance. The contractor shall furnish a model and simulation software license (ModelCenter, Visualization pak) and maintenance support plus one training class. This software will provide ModelCenter that enables design engineers to perform design exploration and optimization techniques in the preliminary and conceptual phases of product design; PHX CenterLink, a tool for Web collaboration and parallel computing; plug-in toolkits and QuickWrap tools that enable users to build customized plug-ins for application integration; and AnalysisLibrary that provides a central server to manage engineering analysis files and related data. Its products are used to enable integration of models and simulations, process automation, results visualization, and data management in the conceptual and preliminary stages of product design and systems analysis. The contractor shall provides software training courses and all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items and services necessary to maintain support for the Air Force for one base year with 1 one-year option. Services include on-site, on-call maintenance, which shall be in accordance with procedures recommended by the various equipment manufacturers. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 541511 (SIC 7030) with a size standard of $25.0 Million. All interested parties are encouraged to provide information on their capabilities to meet this requirement. Only written responses will be considered. The solicitation will be posted solely on the World Wide Web at the following address beginning on or after 28 January 2010: http://www.fbo.gov. NO PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE MAILED. No fax/telephone requests will be accepted. The Government reserves the right to cancel the solicitation either before or after the closing date of the solicitation. The acquisition will be accomplished in accordance with FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
