- This pre-solicitation notice is to inform that the VA Medical Center, Bath, New York will be posting a solicitation on or about 9/16/09 to Replace main drain lines in building 76 at the VA Medical Center, Bath, NY. Building 76 of the VAMCs Bath, NY, campus is a seven story (ground plus one through six) structure with medical facilities. This space will be occupied during construction and will require phasing. Contractor shall completely prepare site for construction operations, including demolition and removal of existing pipings and ceilings, and furnish labor and materials and perform work to replace main drain line in building 76 as required by drawings and specifications. Work includes general construction, asbestos abatement, alterations, utility systems, plumbing, necessary removal of existing structures and construction and certain other items. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses. The NAICS code is 238220. The small business standard is $14 M. The cost range is $1,000,000 to $2,000,000. Information regarding the one and only site visit scheduled will be stated in the Solicitation. A 20% Bid Bond must be submitted with the bid. Performance and Payment bonds will be required.
