- SYNOPSISRenovate Patient Ward 9B The Department of Veterans Affairs, 508 Fulton Street, Durham, North Carolina has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, material, supplies, equipment, transportation, permits, licenses and qualified supervision for Project 558-09-114, Renovate Patient Ward 9B at the Durham VA Medical Center, Durham, North Carolina. The work will consist but is not necessary limited to general construction, asbestos, plumbing, sprinkler, HVAC, and electrical to renovate approximately 8,500 SF of space on the B-wing of the 9th Floor. All work performed shall meet all applicable codes and regulations and be in strict accordance with the contract drawings and specifications. Duration for this project is 300 calendar days from notice to proceed. Estimated construction cost is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. This is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside. Bidding material/drawings will be available on/about February 16, 2010. The specifications, drawings, and amendments/notices, if any, will be posted on this web site. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for proposal. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. NO bidders list is maintained.
