- Title: Sign Manufacturing RECOVERY Forest-wide Trail Signage Description(s): Manufacturing of Signage for Clearwater National Forest, ID THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) PROCUREMENT. The resulting contract will utilize funds provided by the AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) of 2009; interested parties are notified that the inclusion of unique provisions required in implementing the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency, will be required of the successful bidder. The purpose of this announcement is to make notice that the Forest Service contemplates releasing a solicitation numbered AG-82B1-S-10-0148 on or about February 15, 2010 for the RECOVERY Clearwater National Forest Signage Project. If the solicitation is released, it will be released through this FedBizOpps website, and prospective bidders should visit this FedBizOpps website from time to time on or after February 15, 2010 to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information about this acquisition will be distributed solely through this website. This notice meets the requirements of FAR 5.201; however, the Forest Service reserves the right not to release a solicitation. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project consists of manufacturing an estimated 800 square feet of routed cedar and 1,000 square feet of reflective forest-wide trail signage. PROJECT LOCATION: This work is for the Clear Water National Forest, Orofino, ID PARTICIPATION: This project is a cascading set-aside for HUBZone Small Business concerns and then Small Business concerns. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 339950. The small business size standard is 500 employees. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered.
