Description
Water and Sanitation Service to Temporary Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) and Administrative trailers, Opa-Locka Airport, 14300 NW 41st Ave, Opa-Locka, FL 33054 The Federal Aviation Administration, Eastern Logistics Service Area anticipates awarding the contract for the initial base period of 1 (one) year with four (one-year) options. Issue date for solicitation: January 28, 2010.Due date for offers: February 18, 2010.Start date for performance: April 1, 2010. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for Small businesses within a 150 mile radius of Opa Locka, FL. The NAICS code for the acquisition is 562991, Septic Tank and related services. Offers are due: Thursday, February 18, 2010 by 5:00 pm (EST). To be considered for the award of this project, the contractor must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database (website: www.ccr.gov). Please see Section "L" of the solicitation for complete proposal submission information. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
