- Description
- The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is currently using APS-143B(V)3 Radar System on the HU-25D Falcon Jet and the APS-143C(V)3 utilized on the HC-144A aircraft. The APS-143B(V)3 Radar System consists of a Receiver Transmitter (P/N 527583-4), Antenna Pedestal Assembly (P/N 527588-4) and Signal Processor (P/N 527588-4). The APS-143C(V)3 Radar System consists of the Receiver Transmitter (P/N 737-4000-001), the Antenna Pedestal (P/N 737-5000-002) and the Signal Processor 737-3000-001). The Coast Guard intends to have the APS-143B(V)3 modified to the APS-143C(V)3 configuration. Telephonics Corporation is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of both radar systems.
