- North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 423830. This procurement is for the purchase of Multi-Axis Turning Center in support of the XM106 Smoke Grenade Program at TEAD (Tooele Army Depot). This procurement is a brand name (Moriseiki Model NL2000SY) or equal. A complete list of the salient features, functions, and specifications will be provided with the solicitation. The machine is to be installed on an existing concrete floor which is 6 thick with 2,500 psi strength rating. 90 psi shop air, 208 volt AC 3-phase electrical power and water at 40 psi is available at the installation location. Any additional requirements for proper machine installation, i.e., special foundation, utilities, etc., are the responsibility of the vendor. The machine and all accessories, components, and tooling is to be received at TEAD within 90 days date after award. Vendor will notify the point of contact at TEAD of the delivery date a minimum of 3 working days prior to arrival of machine. Installation, prove-out, and training are to be completed within 21 days of receipt of machine unless extended by the government. Classroom training is to be performed onsite (facilities available). FOB Destination, Tooele Army Depot, Tooele, UT. This will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. A 100% Option Quantity is required. Electronic bid submission will ONLY be accepted in response to this solicitation IF and ONLY IF the completed solicitation is included as an attachment in its ENTIRETY. Otherwise, all proposals must be faxed or mailed in by the specified date and time. All Contractors who provide goods/services to the DOD must be registered in the Central Contractors Register (CCR). Approximate issue date for solicitation W52P1J-10-T-3027 is 08 FEB 2010 with an approximate proposal due date 01 MAR 2010. The solicitation shall be issued via the Internet at http://www.osc.army.mil/ac/aais/ioc and https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi and http://www.fedbizopps.gov.
