- Description: This is an American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) procurement. The U.S. Forest Service, EROC-NW, servicing Region 6 has a requirement for precommercial tree thinning, manual release, pruning, slash treatment, hand piling and related work in compliance with its terms, specifications, and provisions. This includes furnishing labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals except those items, if any, listed as Government-furnished property. The required completion date for this work is April 30, 2011. The project is located within the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest. The solicitation is planned as a Request for Quotations resulting in a firm, fixed-price contract requiring both a price quote and written response describing past performance of like work. Award will be made to the offeror providing the best value to the Government. This acquisition is a Total HUBZone set-aside per FAR 52.219-3. Contractors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). A solicitation will be posted February 12, 2010. No hard copies of the solicitation and applicable amendments will be mailed. To receive the solicitation package and any subsequent amendments, offerors must download them from the https://www.fbo.gov/ website. Quotes are due by COB, February 24, 2010.
