- Description
- This accouncement will be issued as a Request For Proposal (RFP). The anticipated award will be a Firm-Fixed-Price contract with a period of performance to be for a six (6) month base year and one (1) one-year option period. The solicitation shall incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-005. This acquisition is to be set aside and awarded to 100% small business. Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, tools, equipment, materials, transportation, supervision and all other essential necessary to perform operations of a Contract or Operated Parts Store (COPARS) for the furnishing of automotive and related vehicle parts and accessories to support the vehicle fleet and miscellaneous equipment at Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico. Contractor is required to set-up and maintain a store in a Government-owned facility. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with the Description of Services (DOS). This is a commodities type contract with a performance period of 1 April 2010 through 30 September 2010 with one (1) one-year option (1 October 2010 - 30 September 2011). This proposed procurement is under a 100 percent Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for those concerns and its affiliates is 423120 and is defined as a concern whose average number of employees for the preceeding three fiscal years did not exceed 100 employees. Request for Proposals (RFP) will be tentatively issued on or about 1 February 2010 with receipt of proposals tentatively scheduled on or about 1 March 2010. Evaluation factors will be supplied in the RFP. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered. 1) RFP submission must be in accordance with solicitation; 2) Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry to be eligible for award (Ref. DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration); 3) All Amendments, if applicable, must be acknowledged; 4) questions concerning this notice should be submitted to the Points of Contract as indicated in this announcement.
