- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE COST-PER-COPY CANON COPIER MAINTENANCE SERVICE Contractor to provide cost-per-copy on site copier maintenance to include but not limited to preventative and repair (remedial) services, all labor, certified Canon Service Technicians, travel, transportation, parts and components, test equipment, maintenance materials, tools, materials and parts include but not limited to toner, drums, and any other parts required for maintaining copier operation. Paper and staples are not included. PROCESS OF DETERMINING CONTRACT AWARD: Award will be made to the lowest-priced responsive, responsible offeror, whose primary type of business is the sale and service of copiers and where the service office is located with 50 miles of the VA medical center. One of the factors in determining if a potential contractor is responsible will be a review of past performance. Contractor shall provide a certified Canon Service technician on-site to commence repairs within 24 hours of the telephone request to the Spokane Medical Center and the Coeur d'Alene Community Bases Outpatient Clinic, and repairs within 48 hours to the Wenatchee Community Based Outpatient Clinic. Service must be completed between 8:00 a.m. and 4: 30 p.m. QUALIFICATIONS: Maintenance shall be performed by Canon manufacturer certified trained technicians. A copy of the certification shall be provided for each technician(s), and any replacement, performing under this contract before award or commencement of work.
