- The Federal Government plans to award, on a sole-source basis, to SGIS based out of San Diego, CA on 01-FEB-2010. The award is for a "Wide Area Emergency Broadcast System" consisting of a primary hub and software/database implementation which will work in unision with pre-existing communication towers covering an approximately 4-square-mile area.
