- THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (ARRA) PROCUREMENT RECOVERY- Resurface Road 60, Gifford Pinchot NF, Mount Adams Ranger District, Skamania County, Carson, Washington. THE PURPOSE of this announcement is to make notice that the Forest Service contemplates releasing a solicitation numbered AG-0489-S-10-0202 on or about February 10, 2010, to Resurface Road 60, Gifford Pinchot NF, Mount Adams Ranger District, Skamania County, Carson, Washington. If the solicitation is released, it will be released through this FedBizOpps website, and prospective bidders should visit this FedBizOpps website from time to time on or after February 10, 2010, to obtain a copy of the solicitation. This notice meets the requirements of FAR 5.201. However, the Forest Service reserves the right not to release a solicitation. PROJECT DESCRIPTION. The U.S. Forest Service, EROC-NW, servicing Region 6 has a requirement to resurface Road 60, Gifford Pinchot NF, Mount Adams Ranger District, Skamania County, Carson, Washington. Road 60 resurfacing requires prepping, hauling and replacement of new road as stated in statement of work and bid schedule. The contractor shall supply all services, labor, equipment and material, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals except those items, if any, listed as Government-furnished property needed to perform the following: Resurface Road 60 in compliance with its terms, specifications, and provisions of the contract. The Government intends to award a negotiated firm fixed price contract. PROJECT LOCATION – Mount Adams Ranger District on Road 60 between milepost 10.9 and milepost 21.5. Material source location for this project is Dry Cr. Quarry. PARTICIPATION. This acquisition is a Total Small Business set-aside. The North American Classification System Code (NAICS) is 237310. The size standard is $33.5 Million. The solicitation with specifications and Davis Bacon Contract Act wage rates will be posted to the FedBizOps website www.fbo.gov. REGISTRATIONS.
