- This Request for Information (RFI) is in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clause 52.215-3 (Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes - Oct 1997) and is published only to encourage interested Commercial Business parties capable of providing technical support for use by the Cryptologic Systems Group (CPSG), Cryptographic Modernization Program Office (CMPO), Lackland Air Force Base, Texas, for planning purposes only. CPSG CMPO is in the process of determining the acquisition strategy for Data at Rest encryption solutions that are certified, undergoing certification, or in development, which may be used for the protection of secret and below information. We anticipate awarding a contract in the future under North American Industry Classification System Codes (NAICS): 541330, 541519, 541690, 541712, and 541990. All interested, capable, and responsible sources that wish to respond to this RFI are encouraged to provide your capabilities to develop or provide a device, product specifications or on-shelf technology base, and possible development schedule and cost (exclusive of NSA certification) via electronic mail no later than 5 Mar 2010. Responses to this RFI will not be returned. Please see attached document.
