- The Department of Defense Dependents Schools (DoDDS) Pacific/Department of Defense Dependent Elementary and Secondary Schools (DDESS) Guam intends to procure on a Full and Open Competition basis, a Firm-Fixed-Price Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity type contract for art supplies for all the elementary, middle and high schools in the Pacific (Guam, Japan and Korea). This requirement will be procured utilizing a competitive lowest price technically source selection evaluation process in accordance with FAR Part 15. The initial period of performance is from 01 April 2010 through 31 March 2011 with four one-year option periods. The RFP will be posted in the Federal Business Opportunities website on or about 22 February 2010 to close 30 days after issue date. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency by the RFP closing date. Proposals shall be submitted as specified in the RFP. Award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 37, Service Contracting. The Department of Defense requires all contractors to register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to receive any contract award or payment. The CCR website is: http://www.ccr.gov. Inquiries may be submitted in writing via e-mail to robin.boyd@pac.dodea.edu. This is strictly a Synopsis to inform industry about an upcoming requirement. No proposals will be accepted based on this pre-solicitation notice.
