- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command.Note: The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, Rhode Island is NOT accepting quotes or proposals via submission through NECO.The Naval Undersea Warfare Center intends to award a firm fixed price contract for the acquisiton of sole make and model, no substitutions allowed, new Cisco Systems hardware. The required Cisco Systems hardware identified by Code 114 is network equipment necessary to support the build out and conversion of the current NUWCDIVNPT networks to the NUWCDIVNPT Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) Classified and Unclassified networks previously approved by NAVSEA. Cisco Systems is the sole manufacturer of the required Cisco Systems hardware. TO SUBMIT AN OFFER/QUOTE ON THIS REQUIREMENT, VENDOR MUST EITHER BE A PREMIER, SILVER, OR GOLD CISCO PARTNER. ALL VENDOR INFORMATION WILL BE VERIFIED WITH A NAVY CISCO REPRESENTATIVE PRIOR TO AWARD. ANY OFFER THAT DOES NOT MEET THIS REQUIREMENT WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR AWARD. PLEASE PROVIDE DOCUMENTATION WITH YOUR OFFER THAT SHOWS PARTNER LEVEL.A complete listing of all required items and further details will be provided upon issue of RFQ N66604-10-Q-1418, which in accordance with FAR 5.203(a) & (h), is anticipated to be on or about 02/01/2010. This procurement is 100% small business set aside. NAICS Code is 423430, size standard is 100 employees. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (http://www.ccr.gov) in order to be eligible for award.
