- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. The US Army Intelligence and Security Command Directorate of Contracting, Alexandria, VA intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source purchase order under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 with IMMIX Technology, Inc, 8444 Westpark Drive, Suite 200, McLean, VA 22102 for Forensic Software Maintenance & Support (FTK2 Standalone SMS) renewal. Though this notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations, information received within three (3) days after date of publication of the solicitation will be considered by the Government. Information must be received by 3:00 PM on the third day. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The NAICS code is 423430. SOLE SOURCE JUSTIFICATION: The US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) requires software maintenance for sixty two (62) software licenses that were previous purchased. The Software maintenance includes product upgrades and telephone/e-mail support for problems and/or questions. There is no other single product on the market that provides the complete and unique capability of the FTK system and is the only source that can provide the required maintenance and support.
