- The purpose of this amendment is to change the solicitationrelease date FROM: On or about November 16, 2009, TO: On or about March22, 2010. The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, Pittsburgh, PA will beissuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) for Orthotic devices which includesthe evaluation, manufacture, fitting and adjustment of Orthotic devicesby its qualified Orthotist. It is the VA's intention to solicitquotations and award a single contract on a competitive basis. A copy ofthe solicitation will be available at FEDBIZOPS website on or aboutMarch 22, 2010, for a total of 30 calendar days. The procurement is setaside for Small Business. The final contract award decision may bebased on a combination of past performance and other evaluation factorsas described in the solicitation.
