Description
RECOVERY - 900 MHz Ethernet Radios - IDIQ Contract (Modified) The U.S. Geological Survey Cascades Volcano Observatory has a requirement to establish a single indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) type contract for the acquisition of 900MHz Ethernet digital radios for delivery to Vancouver, Washington. The contract will require the delivery of the following configurations: 1) long range Ethernet/serial digital radios, 2) high speed Ethernet/serial digital radios, and 3) long range Ethernet digital (only) radios. The minimum required salient characteristics will be available for review in the solicitation. The Government anticipates award of a commercial, firm-fixed price, IDIQ contract. The contract will have an ordering period not to extend beyond 30 Sep 2010. The estimated contract value is $500,000. The guaranteed contract minimum is $100,000 and the minimum order is $5,000. Orders may be a single delivery or several scheduled deliveries commencing 90 days after contract award. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement may be available on the internet on or about 29 Jan 2010. A formal solicitation is not available for release at this time. This requirement is a total small business set-aside and will utilize procedures in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial items. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334220 and the applicable size standard is 750 employees. There is no incumbent contractor. Full funding for requirements to be completed by resultant contract award(s) may utilize funds provided by the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA). Inclusion of unique provisions required to implement the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency requirements by the successful offeror(s) will be required in any resultant contract.
