- SYNOPSIS(FOR SOLE SOURCE) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Solicitation number N00167-09-T-0027 applies and is hereby issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and proposals are being requested: a written solicitation will not be issued. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) has a requirement for commercial services to test, repair, refurbish and calibrate twenty four (24) DT-369 Calibrated Reference Hydrophones (CRH) and two (2) (SB31CT) Transducers. NSWCCD intends to solicit and negotiate on a non-competitive basis with Argotec Inc of Fort Lauderdale, FL 33334-3948. Argotec is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and has no authorized repair dealers. This notice of intent is not a request for competiti ve quotes. Interested persons may forward their capabilities statements within 7 days after date of publication of this announcement to the Government POC referencing RFQ N00167-09-T-0027. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside.The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334511.The Small Business Administration size standard is 500 employees.A firm-fixed price purchase order is anticipated under Simplified Acquisition Procedures The requirement is as follows: Clin-0001- Quantity-- (24) each-Item Description: PROVIDE TESTING, REPAIRAND CALIBRATION SERVICES OF ARGOTEC MODEL DT-369, CALIBRATED REFERENCE HYDROPHONES (CRH).Clin-0002- Quantity-- (2) each-Item Description: PROVIDE TESTING, REPAIRAND CALIBRATION SERVICES OF ARGOTEC MODEL SB31-CT, TRANSDUCERS AND CABLES.Delivery is required thirty (30) days after receipt of equipment. Fob Destination.Final inspection and acceptance will be at Naval Surface Warfare Center- Carderock Division, 9500 MacArthur Blvd: West Bethesda.
