- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) webpage located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to purchase on a sole source manufacturer basis (1) Secure Access 6500 FIPS Base System, (1) Additional 1000 simultaneous users to SA 6500, (1) J-Care NextDay Support for SA6.5K-M (500-4999U), and (1) Instant Virtual Systems for SA 6500 from Juniper Networks US Inc, 1194 N Mathilda Ave, Sunnyvale CA 94089-1206 or an authorized reseller. The SA 6500 is an upgrade to the existing SA 6000 currently in use and must be fully compatible with the current equipment to ensure compatibility with existing systems and policies. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 13. Award anticipated prior to 19 February 2010. Delivery is FOB Destination Dahlgren Virginia. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 514512 with a size standard of $23M. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered. Quotes may be submitted via email to Janice.pilkerton@navy.mil or facsimile (540)653-6810, Attn: CXS13-20. All quotes must reference RFQ number N00178-10-Q-3477 on all correspondence. The closing date and time for receipt of quotations is 3 February 2010 at 12:00 PM EST.
