- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command-Center (MICC-Center), Fort Sam Houston, Texas,intends to solicit offers for a Fencing Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite- Quantity (IDIQ) contract. This announcement constitutes only a synopsis of the requirement. This is a HUBZone competitive acquisition. The places of performance are Fort Sam Houston, Camp Bullis and Army/Air Force facilities at Canyon Lake. A solicitation will be issued on/or about 8 February 2010. The MICC-Center intends to award to a qualified HUBZone participant, under NAICS Code is 238990.It is anticipated that one (1) IDIQ firm-fixed price contract will be awarded in accordance with the evaluation and award criteria set forth in the solicitation. Award will be made to the offeror who submit proposals that are technically acceptable with a fair and reasonable price. The period-of-performance is base (1-year)) plus four (4) 1-year option periods for a total of five (5) years. The estimated value of the IDIQ contract is $530,000.00, including options. Contractor shall provide (as specified in each task order under this contract) all labor, equipment, materials and supervision necessary to perform fence construction to include new work, additions, alterations,maintenance and repairs. Contractors wishing to participate in this proposed procurement must obtain his or her copy of the solicitation from the ASFI and/or FedBizOpps websites. Copies will not be mailed from MICC-Center. All amendments will be posted on the ASFI and FedBizOpps websites. Contractors will be solely responsible for obtaining amendments from the aforementioned websites to update their files. Prospective contractor must be actively registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR)system. Further information may be obtained at website http://www.ccr.gov.
