- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Philadelphia, PA intends to procure a quantity of two (2) sets of Marine Utility Float Deep Draft Barge Camels. Each set will contain two individual Deep Draft Barge Camels. This solicitation will be issued using unrestricted competition. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated which will be awarded to the low price, technically acceptable offer. This procurement will include one option for a quantity of four (4) additional sets. The solicitation will be released on or about 16 February 2010 and will close 30 days thereafter. This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fedbizopps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. All interested parties may download the solicitation and any amendments at http://www.neco.navy.mil at the appropriate date listed for release of the solicitation.
