- Description
- The VA San Diego Medical Center has a construction requirement for Project 664-09-932, to Renovate Rehabilitation Therapy Medicine Service located on the first floor of Building 1. Work will be performed in a functioning hospital environment, which will remain operational during the project duration. Solicitation documents, including technical specifications and drawings, will be available on-line at www.fbo.gov on or about February 8, 2010. Offerors will search for solicitation VA-262-10-RP-0133 to access solicitation documents and any Amendments. Interested parties are strongly encouraged to register to receive notification of actions including posting of the solicitation and any amendments. Offerors are advised to check the web site frequently as they are responsible for obtaining amendments. Only electronic proposals submitted via e-mail will be accepted. A Pre-Proposal Conference and Site Visit shall be held, date/time/location to be provided with the solicitation. Offerors must be currently 1. listed in the VetBiz Registry Vendor Information Page (http://www.vetbiz.gov/vip/vip.htm) 2. registered on Central Contractor Registration (http://www.ccr.gov) 3. completed Online Representations and Certifications at (https://orca.bpn.gov/). This acquisition is solicited pursuant to the Veterans' First Program, Public Law 109-461 as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set-Aside. A Firm-Fixed Price Construction award is anticipated. Additionally, the acquisition will be conducted in accordance with FAR 15.101-2, Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Source Selection Process. NAICS Code: 236220, Small Business Size Standard: $33.5 Million. Project magnitude: Between $250,000 and $500,000. Contract Completion Time will be One Hundred Eighty (180) Calendar Days. Ninety (90) day bid acceptance period will be required. Bid Bond will be required from Department of the Treasurys Listing of Approved Sureties (http://www.fms.treas.gov/c570/c570.html).
