- Description
- This is a Sources Sought announcement for information only. This is not a request for proposal. In preparation for an upcoming procurement, the 9th Contracting Squadron is conducting market research to determine potential sources for a Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC). The government is considering whether to set aside this acquisition as an 8(a) Set-aside for companies located in SBA Sacramento District. The subsequent contract (if awarded) will be a design, design-build or build only Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) MACC. Projects under this IDIQ contract will consist of construction work based on a general statement of work further defined within each individual task order. Work to be performed under the MACC will be within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes, Sector 23 Construction, Sub-sector 236 Construction of Buildings, Size Standard $33.5M; Sub-sector 237 Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, Size Standard $33.5M (except Land Subdivision, $7M and Dredging and Surface Cleanup Activities, $20M); and Sub-sector 238 Specialty Trade Contractors, Size Standard $14M for work on Beale AFB. The performance period for this contract will be one basic year with four one-year option years. The intent is to award six IDIQ contracts as a result of the solicitation. MACC task orders may range from $2,000.00 to $5,000,000.00, accommodate design, design-build, or build efforts, and will be competed among MACC selected 8(a) contractors. Contract award minimum guarantee will be specified in the solicitation and shall be over the life of each contract. The aggregate not-to-exceed amount for each IDIQ contract is estimated at $125 million. The resulting solicitation will be issued electronically. The solicitation may be obtained by downloading through the FBO.GOV website. Hard copies of the solicitation and all attachments WILL NOT be available. Offerors must register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), online at www.ccr.gov. All contractors must also be registered in the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA), https://orca.bpn.gov/ prior to the Request for Proposal solicitation closing date. Businesses may indicate interest in this acquisition by providing (1) company name, (2) point of contact, (3) phone and FAX numbers, (4) e-mail address, (5) street address and (6) servicing SBA office (7) and business status (8(a), HUBZone, and/or SDVOSB etc.) in written form on company letterhead. (8) Bonding Capacity: Provide your surety's name, your maximum bonding capacity per project, and your aggregate maximum bonding capacity. Your response must be complete and include this information; otherwise, the government will assume a reasonable offer by your firm will not be expected.
