Description
Amendment 01: Revised Agreement, Questions and Answers, and Basic Floor drawings. GSA Pacific Rim Region (GSA) requires furnishing and installation new restroom fixtures as follows: Federal Building, 880 Front Street, San Diego, CA 1. Replace <ins datetime="2010-01-24T15:02" cite="mailto:MarkSLevi">14</ins> <ins datetime="2010-01-24T15:03" cite="mailto:MarkSLevi">1</ins> Regular (1.6 GPF) conventional (i.e., non-tank-style) <ins datetime="2010-01-24T15:04" cite="mailto:MarkSLevi">wall-mounted </ins> toilets with auto-dual-flush 1.1/1.6 GPF toilets. Reconfigure plumbing lines as necessary (but assume toilets to remain in same location). <ins datetime="2010-01-24T15:02" cite="mailto:MarkSLevi"> Note that </ins> <ins datetime="2010-01-24T15:03" cite="mailto:MarkSLevi">42 of these are in high-security areas and may require escorts.</ins> <ins datetime="2010-01-24T15:06" cite="mailto:MarkSLevi"></ins> <ins datetime="2010-01-24T15:06" cite="mailto:MarkSLevi">2. Replace 41 floor mounted, tank-style toilets with auto-dual-flush 1.1/1.6 GPF floor mounted toilets. Replace <ins datetime="2010-01-24T15:07" cite="mailto:MarkSLevi">24</ins> urinals (1-GPF <ins datetime="2010-01-24T15:07" cite="mailto:MarkSLevi"> top flush</ins> ) with ultra low flow automatic 0.125 GPF urinals (fixture and valve). <ins datetime="2010-01-24T15:07" cite="mailto:MarkSLevi"></ins> <ins datetime="2010-01-24T15:07" cite="mailto:MarkSLevi">3. Replace 10 urinals</ins> <ins datetime="2010-01-24T15:09" cite="mailto:MarkSLevi"> foot-flush urinals with ultra low flow automatic 0.125 GFF urinals (fixture and valve). </ins> <ins datetime="2010-01-24T15:10" cite="mailto:MarkSLevi"> Note that 4 of these are in high-security areas and may require escorts.</ins> 3. Replace <ins datetime="2010-01-24T15:11" cite="mailto:MarkSLevi">72 faucets</ins> with low flow automatic faucets 0.5 GPM. 4. Replace <ins datetime="2010-01-24T15:10" cite="mailto:MarkSLevi">22</ins> standard shower heads (5-GPM) with new low flow 1-GPM shower heads. These are replacement in existing occupied space, and require demolition and disposal of existing fixtures and minimizing impact on occupants. All work is subject to employees obtaining HSPD-12 background clearances. Access to the building is subject to building security and access policies. Loading dock use is restricted, and there is no employee parking. There is limited storage space available. Award will be on the basis of a best-value source selection considering price and non-price factors. This solicitation is being issued for Services Disable Veteran Owned Small Business under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program for NAICS 238220.
