Description
RECOVERY – NO REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS WILL BE ISSUED TO THE PUBLIC. TELEPHONE CALLS OR E-MAILS CONCERNING THIS PROJECT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED NOR RETURNED BY THE CONTRACTING OFFICER. THIS REQUIREMENT WILL BE AWARDED BY ISSUANCE OF A DELIVERY ORDER UNDER AN EXISTING INDEFINITE DELIVERY/INDEFINITE QUANTITY (ID/IQ) CONTRACT TO CENTENNIAL CONTRACTORS ENTERPRISES, INC. CONTRACT NO. HHSI161200900004I. THIS PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND REQUIRED BECAUSE FUNDING PROVIDED UNDER THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 WILL BE USED FOR THIS EFFORT. AGAIN, NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL BE ISSUED TO THE PUBLIC. The project require the repainting of two water standpipes and the providing of a water circulating system for each standpipe at the Kickapoo Tribe in Kansas. The water standpipes are in need of repainting to protect the structural integrity of the steel tanks. In addition, repainting of the interior will decrease the amount of debris, such as rust and chipped paint that enters the water distribution system. The water circulation system will be installed to eliminate stagnant water in each standpipe. Other repairs include remounting a control panel, installing new vent screens, and replacing an existing security fence. To bring the standpipes up to OSHA standard, new manways will also be installed at each standpipe. The objective of this project is to help improve the water quality at the Kickapoo Tribe in Kansas. The magnitude on this construction requirement is $1MIL TO $1.5MIL. This requirement is for a proposal leading to an issuance of a delivery order under a competitively awarded Job Order Contract (JOC) for the Albuquerque Area Indian Health Service. Firms interested in sub-contracting possibilities should contact Bruce J. Keller, Project General Manager, Centennial Contractors Enterprises, Edmond, Oklahoma.
