- The Economic Recovery Operations Center Intermountain located in Golden, Colorado intends to award a contract for plugging thirteen abandoned wells. The project consists of furnishing all labor, transportation, incidentals (removal of items within a 300 foot radius of well) and materials necessary to plug abandoned wells in accordance with Forest Service drawings and specifications. The project is located on the Dakota Prairie Grasslands in Billings, Golden Valley, and Slope counties, approximately 50 miles south and west of Belfield, ND. The anticipated start date for this project is in June 2010 with a completion date of September 30, 2010. The solicitation should be sometime in the first week of February. Contractors are required to be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and complete the Online Representations and Certification Application (ORCA).
