Description
This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. Note: The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, Rhode Island is NOT accepting quotes or proposals via submission through NECO. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division Newport, Newport, Rhode Island intends to purchase the following Super Micro based server processors as NUWC configured server part numbers ST23-C1, qty. 100; ST23-C2, qty. 20; ST20-C1, qty. 15; ST20-C2, qty. 20; ST25-C1, qty. 13 for use in the AN/BYG-1 Combat System Technology Insertion 08 (TI08) version of the Submarine Multi-Mission Team Trainers (SMMTT). Systems shall be configured as specified by NUWC Part Number. All parts must be new and carry full manufacturer warranty. A firm fixed price type purchase order is anticipated. NAICS Code 334119, Size Standard is 1000 employees. This requirement is 100% small business set aside. Further details will be provided in Solicitation #N66604-10-Q-1046, which is anticipated to be released on or about 01/28/10. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (http://www.ccr.gov) and ORCA (http://orca.bpn.gov/) to be eligible for award. Instructions for registration are available at the websites. Evaluation factors are technical capability, price and past performance. Required delivery is 35 units 3 wks. ARO, and approx. 35 units every wk. thereafter, F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Newport; Newport, RI.
