Description

RECOVERYThe National Park Service is issuing this special notice to inform industry of the intent to solicit and negotiate solely (as prescribed in FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements) with Howell-Oregon Electric Cooperative, Inc., West Plains, MO. This requirement is for the replacement of underground 3-phase electric lines at Alley Spring and Round Spring at the Ozark National Scenic Riverways, MO. These lines are owned by Howell-Oregon Electric Cooperative, Inc. A determination not to compete this proposed contract has been made pursuant to 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), as implemented by 6.302-1, this requirement has been justified and approved in accordance with FAR 6.303 and FAR 6.304. All inquires and concerns must be addressed in writing via mail to Colina Rivetts, National Park Service, P.O. Box 25287, MS-WCP, Denver, CO 80225 or by email to colina_rivetts@nps.gov. Any response to this notice must show clear, compelling and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous the Government. The intent of this synopsis is for informational.
