- HAITI SUPPORT 100,000 GALLON TANK SHIP / TUG_BARGE RFP Time charter for one (1) clean, approved, double hull U.S or foreign-flag small shallow-draft tank ship, ITB, ATB, or other suitable tug-barge unit (further known as vessel) capable of carrying approximately 100,000 U.S. GALLONS clean petroleum products (intentions JP8, JP5, and/or F76) in cargo tanks with double valve isolation. Intentions are for vessel to lighter cargo from delivering vessels at/safe anchorage/mooring in/vicinity of Port Au Prince Haiti and deliver to shore via shore/pier-side delivery or via cargo hose. In accordance with the Cargo Preference Act of 1904, preference will be given to U.S. Flag vessels. Laydays commence 27 January 2010 and cancel 29 January 2010. The delivery ports/places are (1) US East Coast port in chop, (2) U.S. Gulf Coast port in chop, or (3) the Caribbean port in chop. The redelivery ports and places are also (1) US East Coast port in chop, (2) U.S. Gulf Coast port in chop, or (3) the Caribbean port in chop. Charter period is about 30 days with one 30-day option with the right to cancel after 10 days with 5 day notice. PLEASE SEE ATTACHED FOR SPECIFIC DETAILS.
