- Description
- The Government has a requirement for Nessus Professional Feed subscriptions manufactured by Tenable Network Security, inclusive of maintenance and support or EQUIVALENT. The Government anticipates issuing a firm fixed price contract, inclusive of a base period and 4 option periods. The Government will buy 6 subscriptions at award and 6 additional subscriptions effective April 26, 2010 to run concurrently with the initial 6. Following the base period, the government will continue with all 12 subscriptions. Base Period Date of Award through Month 12: 6 subscriptions April 26, 2010 through Month 12: 6 subscriptions Option Periods Month 13 - 24: 12 subscriptions Month 25 - 36: 12 subscriptions Month 37 - 48: 12 subscriptions Month 49 - 60: 12 subscriptions Award will be made to the lowest price technically acceptable offer. Technical acceptance shall be based on a demonstration that the offered product is equal to the Nessus Professional Feed currently being used. Each Offeror must submit the following to be considered: • DUNS # (as registered in CCR, Offeror must registered in CCR to be considered for an award) • Complete specifications and details of the product being offered (unless offering Nessus Professional Feed) • Pricing in accordance with the periods listed above (multiple year pricing proposals will be considered) • Offerors of equivalent products must propose implementation and training cost  The Government may request a trial offer of a potentially equivalent product to confirm equality. Interested offerors may register at http://www.fedbizopps.gov to receive notification when the solicitation and any amendments are issued and available for downloading. Please note that the General Services Administration provides the notification service as a convenience and does not guarantee that notifications will be received by all persons on the mailing list. Therefore, we recommend that you monitor the FedBizOpps site for all information relevant to desired acquisitions. Questions regarding the solicitation must be submitted no later than 12 pm EST on Monday, January 25, 2010. We cannot assure an answer to questions submitted after this deadline. Questions must be sent by email to PSB2@bpd.treas.gov; referencing "Q/A: RFQ-OIT-73200-10-0005-2 Attn: TA/AD". You should call (304) 480-5366 to confirm receipt of email. You must e-mail your proposal to PSB2@bpd.treas.gov. It is the offeror's responsibility to confirm receipt of the email by calling (304) 480-5366. The Government assumes no responsibility for the receipt of the email. Proposal must be received by 12:00 p.m. EST, January 28, 2010.
