- NASA/DFRC has a requirement for the use of a search database to locate partsinventory needed for NASA Dryden Aircraft.[SPECIFICATIONS]The requirements are:The systems should provide the following:a forum to search for availability of parts and services worldwide.members listings of inventory and overhaul capabilitiesavailable service 24/7/365 with ongoing customer service support.cross referencing for alternate part numbers.automatically find USMCRL alternate part numbers.a government data research area.Government Logistics Information, CAGE Code and Vendor Profile Information.NATO Logistics Information.ability to search NSN information for parts and to research additionalinformation. System provides unlimited enhanced search (US NSN / MCRL) unlimited searching of inventory.unlimited Inventory Listing.unlimited Overhaul capabilities Listings and searching.ability for member to enter part number, search availability and send request forquote through the system via email.ability to print out hard copy for faxing or ability to receive direct contactinformation from the company.unlimited posting of electronic real time messages.unlimited notifications of postings with optional keyword filtration.real time updates for part numbers, quantity, and pricing.This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additionalinformation included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the onlysolicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are beingrequested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Offerors are required to usethe On-Line RFQ system to submit their quote. The On-line RFQ system is linked above orit may be accessed at http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=C&pin=. Theinformation required by FAR Subpart 12.6 is included in the on-line RFQ.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the SimplifiedAcquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13.Questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing (e-mail is preferred)no later than 01/29/2010. All proposals or quotes are due no later than 4:00 pm February5, 2010. It is the quoter's responsibility to monitor this site for the release ofamendments (if any).
