This potential acquisition is 100% set-aside for HubZone. In order to qualify for this program, an offeror must be a certified HubZone prior to the closing date of the solicitation. The NAICS Code is 238290 and the Size Standard is $14M. SOLICITATION NUMBER: FA8601-10-R-0017 Provide and install (2) 15-ft sliding gates with card reader on "T" Road just NW of existing Gate 12A. The security bar shall have a Department of State K8 Certification or better. This shall include all necessary foundation requirements for the installation. The security bar shall have a decorative fence securely mounted to it to match the adjacent 4-ft decorative fence in appearance. Contractor shall insure proper operation of gate after installation. Contractor shall provide power, fixtures and required wiring as needed for gate installation and supporting devices. Contractor shall provide suitable housings for outdoor use. Contractor shall provide and install Common Access Cards (CAC) readers. Programming shall be done by the contractor. Estimated cost of proposed acquisition is between $250,000 and $500,000. In accordance with FAR 4.1102 and DFARS 252.204-704 "Required Central Contractor Registration," Contractor must be registered in CCR prior to award. Registration may be accomplished at http://www.ccr.gov. NOTES: 1. This Document is the solicitation. The date for receipt of proposals is 22 FEB 2010. The period of performance is 180 days. 2. There is no fee for this solicitation. 3. A registration page will be attached to the web site. You are not required to register. However, when you register, you will receive notice of any amendments and/or addenda that may be issued to the solicitation. If you have not registered, it will be your responsibility to check the web site for any changes to the solicitation. 4. You shall provide a signed copy of the SF 1442 at the time and place specified in the solicitation for receipt of proposals. There will not be a public opening. Sealed envelopes containing proposals shall be marked to show the offeror's name and address, the solicitation number, and the date and time proposals are due. 5. Contractors that are Debarred, Suspended, or Proposed for Debarment are excluded from receiving contracts. Agencies also shall not consent to subcontract with these contractors. 6. This is a WPAFB Construction Contracting (PKJ) program. The current status is Solicitation and it is a Category Z - Maintenance, repair, and alteration of real property program.
