FOR MORE INFORMATION CONTACT :Lauren LiPera, Weapons System Manager, 410-417-0157 This is a SOURCES SOUGHT MARKET SURVEY. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. Any information submitted by respondents to this synopsis is strictly voluntary. This market survey does not constitute a Request for Proposals (RFP) or a request for sealed bids (IFB), nor does its issuance restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will neither award a contract solely on the basis of this notice, nor pay respondents for any information that they submit in response to this Sources Sought request. The United States Army CECOM LCMC is conducting this sources sought market survey to determine price and availability from potential sources capable of fulfilling a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirement as follows. This is a market survey to locate sources that can provide-manufacture, deliver, and provide pricing (ALL ITEMS AND ADDITIONAL COSTS MUST BE LISTED CLEARLY AND SEPERATELY IN PRICING LAYOUT) for the following Radio Communications Equipment: High Frequency Communications Equipment HF Base Station radios that are equivalent to and interoperable with Datrons HF RT7000 Base Station (Minimum quantity of 67), HF Vehicular radios that are equivalent to and interoperable with Datrons HF RT7000 Vehicular Mounted (Minimum quantity of 566), and HF Portable radios that are equivalent to and interoperable with Datrons HF PRC 1099A Manpack Portable (Minimum quantity of 2,100). Very High Frequency Communications Equipment VHF Base Station radios that are equivalent to and interoperable with Datrons VHF PRC1077 Base Station (Minimum quantity of 205), VHF Handheld radios that are equivalent to and interoperable with Datrons VHF HH7700 Handheld (Minimum quantity of 1), VHF Vehicular Mount radios that are equivalent to and interoperable with Datrons VHF PRC1077 Vehicular Mount Radio(Minimum quantity of 3700), VHF Retransmit Systems that are equivalent to and interoperable with Datrons VHF PRC1077 Retransmit System (Minimum quantity of 160) All radios must contain 7000ENCR Encryption option TCC HI Level with included programming equivalent to Datron Encryption Algorithm to be fully compatible and interoperable with the existing equipment in country. This equipment is being used extensively by countries with forces that are deploying to drug interdiction programs and the Global War on Terror. Power and Distribution Equipment In support of the radio equipment listed the following power equipment is required: Lead Calcium Battery 6AH equivalent to and interoperable with Datrons BB-LA6 Lead Calcium Battery (minimum quantity of 4200), and Multiple Battery Charger equivalent to and interoperable with Datrons PRC-BC4 Multiple Battery Charger (minimum quantity of 525) Spare parts and Accessories Contractor Furnished Spare Parts (CFSP) is required as well as installation accessories. The value of these spares should not exceed 5% of the equipment costs. The parts list is to be based on the vendors recommendation for the type of quality of equipment purchased. In addition, the vendor shall provide the required testing tools, manuals, and equipment necessary to conduct maintenance processes. Warranty Contractor shall provide 2 years of warranty (from the date of delivery to the site) Shipment/Delivery Equipment is required to be delivered NO LATER THAN October 9th 2010. Vendor shall provide a delivery limited time schedule before the delivery. Contract code number on all containers is required as well.
