- Description
- Total Service Disabled Veteran Owned Set Aside (SDVOSB). The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking quotes from SDVOSB construction contractors for Asbestos Abatement of 2000 square feet of the American Lake Canteen Retail Store located at the American Lake Campus of the VA Puget Sound Health Care System. This solicitation will be issued pursuant to the authority of FAR 19.14, Public Law 109-461 and the Veterans Benefits Healthcare and Information Technology Act of 2006 and is a 100% set aside for the Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small business (SDVOSB). Contractors eligible for award shall be 51% or more owned and managed by Service Disabled Veterans. Service Disabled Veterans shall control the daily operations of the firm. The firm must be small under relevant North American Industrial Classification Standards (NAICS) code and the firm must be registered and current in the following websites: http://www.vetbiz.gov, http://www.ccr.gov, and https://orca.bpn.gov. Bidders must ensure registration in these websites are not expired and are correct, current and valid. Magnitude of this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.000.00. The NAICS code for this project is 236220, and the size standard is $33.5 Million. A pre-quote conference/site visit will be held at the date and time posted in the solicitation. The solicitation documents will be posted on or about January 19th, 2010
