- Description
- Recovery Work consists of repairing the east abutment of Rolling Meadow Bridge, rebuilding the adjacent stream bank and slope protection. Major work items include demolition, concrete footings, foundation, and slab,construction of temporary dewatering measures, placement of fill, and installing rip rap. The work is located in Rock Creek Park, Washington, DC 20012, near Beach Drive north of Bingham Drive. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 237310. The project magnitude is estimated to be between $100,000 and $250,000. This project is being solicited and awarded in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, Public Law 100-656. (Federal Acquisition Regulation 19.10) Accordingly, it is open to all small and large responsible offerors. However, a HUBZone small business price evaluation factor may apply. The solicitation with specifications, drawings, and wage rates will be posted to the websites http://www.fedbizopps.gov and http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about 2/2/2010 TELEPHONE OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. No hard copies of the solicitation package will be mailed or issued. To receive the solicitation package you must download it from http://ideasec.nbc.gov. Contractors must register on the website in order to retrieve copies of the solicitation and any possible amendments. Instructions are contained on the website for downloading solicitation and attachments. It is the responsibility of all interested contractors to acknowledge ALL amendments to the solicitation.
