- The Memphis District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has the requirement for a contractor is to furnish Charter Bus Transportation Services for the Defense Contract Audit institute. The solicitation includes a base year and four (4) option years. CLIN 0001 (Base Year) is for the period of March 1, 2010 thru February 28, 2011. CLIN 1001 Option Year One, is for the period of March 1 2011 through February 28, 2012. CLIN 1002 Option Year Two, is for the period of March 1, 2012 through February 28, 2013. CLIN 1003 Option Year Three, is for the period on March 1, 2013 through February 28, 2014. CLIN 1004 Option Year Four, is for the period of March 1, 2014 through February 28, 2015. The solicitation number is W912EQ-10-R-0013 and is being issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). This requirement was previously advertised as solicitation W912EQ-10-R-0007. This procurement is unrestricted. The associated NAICS code is 485510 with a size of $7.0 millions. Potential vendors for this solicitation MUST BE AN APPROVED DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE BUS CARRIER. This approval is not the same as being CCR registered. The complete solicitation can be downloaded on or about January 19, 2010 at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/solicitation_search_form.cfm by searching on the solicitation number. All responsible sources submitting a proposal shall be considered by the agency. Proposals may be submitted in hard copy either through regular mail, or by facsimile. Regardless of method of delivery, it is the offerors responsibility to ensure receipt of proposal by the time and date stated herein. Contractors shall submit proposal on the complete requirement. Response to this synopsis/solicitation must be received via email, fax, mail, or delivery by February 1, 2010 no later than 4:00 PM CST at 167 North Main Street B202, Memphis, TN 38103.
