- RECOVERY--The Miter Gate Machinery Replacement and Alterations to Miter Gates project located at Melvin Price Locks and Dam, Madison County Illinois, consists of concrete, miscellaneous metals, painting, electrical work, miter gate machinery, and hydraulic pump rehabilitation. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This acquisition has been classified unrestricted under NAICS 237990. A Request for Proposal will be issued and the resulting contract award will be a Firm-Fixed-Price Contract. Award will be made to the Lowest Priced, Technically Acceptable offer. The contract duration is 180 calendar days. Solicitation W912P9-10-R-0715, to include plans and specifications will be available on or about 02 February 2010. Solicitation inclusive of Plans and specifications can be accessed via the St. Louis District Contracting Home Page at the following address: //www.usace.army.mil/. Paper copies of this solicitation and its amendments will not be available or issued. Contractors may view and/or download this solicitation and all amendments, if any.
