- Description
- Request for proposal (RFP) for the operation of the Gary Job Corps Center, located in San Marcos, Texas will be available approximately February 03, 2010, in the Federal Business Opportunity (FBO) website: http://www.fbo.gov. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will be cost plus incentive fee for a two year base period of November 1, 2010 through October 31, 2012 plus three government unilateral renewal options of one year each. The approximate average capacity strength is 1660 residential students. In addition, this contract will provide Outreach and Admissions services in the state of Texas for a minimum of 900 students annually and Career Transition Services annually for 1693 graduates and former enrollee of 560. A pre-proposal conference will convene at 9 A.M. on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at the Gary Job Corps Center, 28 Airport Hwy 21, San Marcos, TX, 78667. There will be a tour of the facility following the conference. Upon entering the facility, participants must first check with security and will be directed to the conference site. It is recommended you download the RFP prior to attending the pre-proposal conference. Proposals in response to the RFP will consist of written submissions and possible oral presentations as described in Section L of the RFP. Written portions of the proposals are due by 12:00 p.m. local time, Wednesday, March 24, 2010 to the Dallas Regional Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
