Description
Statement of Objectives NAICS: 334511 (750 Employees) The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center is seeking qualified sources to procure the following technical support services to support NAVAIR flight deck certification of the Aircraft Ship Integrated Secure and Traverse (ASIST) system onboard the USCGC Waesche located in either San Diego or Alameda California (dependent on in port schedule): Description Technical Support/Technical Data for NAVAIR flight deck certification of the ASIST system per the attached Statement of Objectives (SOO). A firm-fixed price contract is anticipated. It is the Government’s belief that only Indal Technologies, the Original Equipment Manufacturer, or their authorized distributors possess the required technical expertise to successfully support the USCG’s efforts aboard the ship. All information regarding the ASIST system is proprietary to Indal Technologies. The Government did not procure this information, or the rights to use this information. Therefore it is the Government’s intent to solicit only Indal Technologies, and/or their authorized distributors. Concerns having the expertise and required capabilities to furnish the above components are invited to submit complete information discussing the same within 15 calendar days from the day this notice is posted. The information that must be submitted must include complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the ability to provide the required technical support. This data must include sufficient information to allow the Coast Guard to evaluate the information relative to the above requirements. Concerns that respond to this notice must fully demonstrate the capability to accomplish the above and are to supply pertinent information in sufficient detail to demonstrate a bona fide capability to meet the requirements. Inquiries/information received after the established deadline shall NOT be considered for this acquisition. The submission of this data for review shall not impede award of this contract. The Government does NOT intend to pay for information solicited. This synopsis is issued pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 and HSAM 3006.302-1.
