- PAPER COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Solicitation number Q9510090005, including a statement of work, specifications, and drawings, will be made available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about January 29, 2010. Responses (quotes) will be due approximately 21 days following issuance of the solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 337211. The small business size standard is 500 employees. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at http://www.ccr.gov, in accordance with FAR Clause 52.204-07 Central Contractor Registration. Offerors must also be registered in the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) database at http://orca.bpn.gov, or provide small business representations and certifications with quote, in accordance with FAR Clause 52.212-3, "Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items." Award will be made utilizing procedures under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. This solicitation is a 100% small business set-aside, and will result in award of a firm, fixed-price contract. DESCRIPTION: The National Park Service, Olympic National Park has a requirement for a single contractor to provide all materials and labor necessary to fabricate and install a new Hurricane Ridge Visitor Center Information Desk. Olympic National Park is in the process of upgrading information desks around the park, in an effort to make them accessible for all visitors and to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act standards. DELIVERY/INSTALLATION: Approximate contract performance period is 60 days, anticipating the contractor to fabricate the desk at contractor's location during March 2010 and completing installation during April 2010, with all work completed no later than April 30, 2010. SITE VISIT: A site visit will not be scheduled. Contractors may conduct a site visit on their own. The Hurricane Ridge Visitor Center is open to the public every Friday through Sunday during winter months, weather permitting, from 9am to 4pm (PST).
